During today's lesson you will begin to understand how Haemoglobin carries oxygen and delivers it to the tissues.

Once you have watched these videos, combined with the the learning during the lesson (using the PowerPoint attached to remind you or what was discussed during the lesson), please have a go at completing the tasks below.
Task 1: Access the document called - different types of haemoglobin (a powerpoint file). Here you will find multiple diagrams of the same oxygen dissociation curve. The curve represents human haemoglobin. You need to sketch the curve that would be representative of the organism that is labelled underneath the curve, comparative to human haemoglobin - would the curve lie to the left or right of the human haemoglobin curve, and justify your choice using the key terminology developed during the lesson.
Task 2: Read the Biofactsheets attached and have a go at the questions
Task 3: When you feel comfortable with your understanding on oxygen dissociation, have a go at the examination questions attached. Please upload them and I will mark them and return them to you with the mark scheme for you to review.
