The video from July 2019 shows technology which is available now. Though we don't see it being used very often it does exist. Imagine if you could have a hologram of yourself which could be seen by millions of different people around the world at the same time, speaking the language of the country they are in!

Answer the following questions

1. If holograms were used by important people to give speeches or present their ideas around the world, do you think it would have more impact than just seeing them on a TV screen?
2. If pop groups and music artists used holograms, it would stop them having to travel around the world to play concerts. Cold Play have announced that they will no longer travel as they want to reduce global warming. Abba have reformed and created a holographic concert so they don't have to travel.
How will this help the environment?
Will the experience be the same for the audience?

The first video showed how Microsoft Azure can translate from English into any other language. There are now a number of devices available that will translate from one language to another.

As well as devices like the ili shown in the video, ear-pods and translation screens are becoming common place, especially in Asia.

Undertake your own research into devices that can be used to automatically translate from one language to another. Create a presentation using images to show at least three devices.
