Literature and Culture: The Homeric World
This looks at:
- the archaeological evidence for the age in which Homer’s tales were set, including the art and tombs, to discover what life was like for the people of those societies;
- the stories of Odysseus, including how the story was written and the portrayal of the characters. This includes his adventures against the Cyclops and the witch Circe, as well as his disguise in his palace.
