LO: Find equivalent fractions and percentages

We began by looking at the different ways we can describe a 'whole' thing - if we use decimals or fractions then a 'whole' is 1 but with percentages a whole one is 100%

50% literally means '50 out of a 100' so can be written as 50/100 but then cancels down to 1/2 or 0.5

Look at the examples we worked through below trying to change between fractions, decimals and percentages

Note we can just times or divide by a 100 to change between decimals and percentages

Try to simplify fractions whenever possible

Also note 3/8 means 3 divided by 8 so we have used the bus-stop method for that one
