In our lesson we were learning about fossil fuels and how they are made. We also talked about the fact that they are non-renewable, and so will run out probably within your lifetime. Another problem with using fossil fuels is that they produce large amounts of carbon dioxide gas when they are burnt for fuel. This gas is very bad for our environment and causes all sorts of problems like the greenhouse effect and acid rain. It is also a major contributor to climate change. For your homework I would like you to watch the following two short videos on the environmental damage that burning fossil fuels can cause.
